I am looking for information regarding William Julius Webb d. aft. 1815 TN, father of Isaiah Thomas Webb b. Jan 13, 1815 in Bedford Co. TN. I am wondering if anyone has determined how William Julius Webb is connected to Jesse Owens Webb b. c1766. Could William Julius Webb descend from a brother or uncle of Jesse Webb b. c1766, or could he descend from the grandfather of Jesse Webb?. If you have information that may help, please contact me through the Webb Surname DNA Project administrator at esturner@casco.net.

Webbs in Alaska
I have been helping some new to me cousins find their Webb birth father. There are 3 of them. One man, born Aug 1966 and a set of twins, born April 1966, all in Ketchikan, Alaska. They match my line's Thomas Webb (Wiltshire, England) DNA group. If anyone in that group knows of ancestors that headed up the west coast to Washington/Oregon or on to Alaska, I would love to know about that. And even if you do not match our Webb line, if you know of any Webbs that migrated that way, we would have a way to narrow down our choices as time passes by. You can contact me privately at ncwebb@gmail.com. Thanks,Karen Webb Hachman

Webb Family Tree for South Carolina's Benjamin Webb (29 Aug 1808 - 5 Jan 1855)
is almost complete, covering 5 good generations to the Webb's in Texas. Research
is currently in progress to track the ancestors of Benjamin Webb, as well as
any other decedents that may stem from the Benjamin Webb Line. A great
majority of research has been done by family records (BC, ML, DC) and census
information from Ancestry.com.
What I have confirmed so far is:
